An important element of fitness is strength training. Just as aerobic exercises can be divided into high intensity and low intensity categories, strength workouts can be divided into muscle strength and muscle endurance. Strength measures how much power a muscle can employ, and endurance measures how long a muscle can apply that power.
Nutrition
For some people, exercise is difficult to maintain but eating healthy is easy. For others, the opposite may be true. I’m one who grew up a hater of fruits and vegetables, yet I fell in love with running in high school. A positive effect of exercising regularly is that if often forces you to change your eating habits so you can better meet the demands of your body.
Flexability
Flexibility is a component of fitness that is often forgotten, but it’s very important for relieving tension and reducing the risk of being injured. There are many ways to stretch your muscles. If you’re not sure what the safe way to stretch is, or you’re looking for a variety of stretches, you can always search online or talk to a trainer or physical therapist.
